Areas of Practice

Generous Journey is a Christian initiative
focussed on nurturing and teaching the Biblical message of generosity.

We do this through confidential sharing of life stories, practical examples, and Bible teaching in an informal and open atmosphere. We do not permit fundraising at our events and we seek to create a safe and mutually encouraging environment for Christians to explore God’s direction for their personal journey of generosity.

Generous Journey is steered by an Advisory Board. An Executive Committee makes operational decisions. Generous Journey is an initiative generously supported by Stewardship.

It’s wonderful – I get far more pleasure in giving it away than making it, actually. A lot of folks miss out on that. They don’t get into the joy of giving unless they get involved with initiatives and issues that really excite them.
